Promoting professionalism amongst Connecticut School Counselors is instrumental in the development of their roles. School Counselors adhere to the ethical standards and practices of the state and national school counselor associations. To encourage and foster personal growth and professional development, CSCA provides you with documents, roundtable sessions, workshops, a summer leadership academy and an annual conference each year. As an important resource to Connecticut’s school districts in their mission to prepare students to meet high academic standards and to become productive and contributing members of society in the 21st century, a 2008 Comprehensive School Counseling Guide was recently published. Please take advantage of the information and activities offered. Demonstrating knowledge of current practices in the field of school counseling is essential for self growth and the growth of our profession. Your time, support, and participation in the various events and activities CSCA provides is most appreciated...
